David Phaure - Director
David Phaure is Joint Director of Sonnets Theatre Arts School and also runs Sonnets Academy where he coaches children for LAMDA Acting examinations.

David Phaure graduated from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in London in 1999.  He worked as a professional actor for four years predominately in Shakespearian plays before founding Sonnets Theatre Arts School in January 2003.

He has 10 years experience in teaching and running performing arts workshops for young people.  David's is contracted by schools to coach for LAMDA Acting examinations and currently works at the Hampshire Collegiate School in Romsey and Farleigh Preparatory School in Andover.

David's aim is for Sonnets Theatre Arts School is to make performing arts affordable for all and to help children either to become a professional artist or gain invaluable life skills for their chosen career. He makes a point of giving all children equal opportunity to perform in Sonnets Theatre Arts School annual showcases from the beginners to the talented and experienced.

Sonnets Kids of Rock (SKOR) are guitar lessons in the school day. David currently runs classes for Vernham Dean Gillums Primary School and St Mary Bourne Primary School in Hampshire.

Lisa Phaure - Director
Lisa Phaure is a Joint Director of Sonnets Theatre Arts School and also runs Sonnets Agency.

Lisa has extensive business experience with a background working for blue Chip companies such as Reuters Ltd and Legal General.  Her experience is Training, Account Management and Marketing Campaign Management.  Lisa was contracted by Test Valley Borough Council to Project Manage the launch of Andover Live Arts Events in 2005-2007 for Test Valley Borough Council, managing 6 events with outdoor staging and thousands of public spectators.

Lisa has herself run Sonnets Minis classes, and after school drama workshops in primary schools in the past and is passionate about children learning to communicate effectively, gain confidence and life skills that are not just about being on stage or in front of the TV camera, but also in presentation skills that can be tranferred to school and their chosen profession.  She has a keen interest in the performing arts and has taken part in a number of Amateur Dramatic productions, and has even starred in a Tomy Toy advert in 2010.
