New School opening after half term in Bath  [19.10.11]
Bath Sonnets is opening after half term at the New Oriel Hall on Wednesday 2 November 2011. We have had a lot of interest in the classes and are offering a 2 week taster at 50% discount, so only £15!!  You can fill a taster enrolment form in online or download and post.

We have 3 fantastic coaches, Juliet Young: ISTD Freestyle qualified dance coach, Ruth Royall: Singing Coach a professional Jazz Singer and Abi Felstead: Drama Coach from Bath Spa University Performing Arts. Samples of Juliet's and Ruth's work can be found on Youtube.

New Reward System for Sonnets Pupils [12.10.11]
Sonnets has launched a new Sonnets Theatre Arts Rewards Scheme called Sonnets STARS starting from September 2011.  Sonnets pupils are awarded a different coloured STARS certificate for each year of performing arts training they complete. More information on STARs to follow on a dedicated web page.

LAMDA Verse and Prose Exams in Sonnets Main School [11.10.11]
Sonnets will be studying Verse and Prose pieces as part of the Main School classes in the summer term.  The pupils in the main school will have the option to take a group Verse and Prose LAMDA examination at the end of the term.

This is by choice and there will be an additional examination fee. Examinations will be held in Andover.  This is being piloted in 2012, by the following schools: Andover, Salisbury, Newbury, Chippenham and Marlborough.
New School in Swindon [23.9.11]
Swindon Sonnets is up and running, with a great turn out on week 1. Classes will run until Thursday 1 December this term.

Coaches are: Paula Pitt: Dance and Singing Coach ISTD Dance qualified and Grade 5 Singing. Samantha Marsden: Drama Coach, Samantha trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, London.
