Terms and Conditions
1. Fees are due before term starts. Bills for the following term are given 2 or
3 weeks before the end of each term. If fees are overdue and there is a waiting
list for the school your child risks losing their place. You will still be
billed for half a terms notice.
2. Class fees can be paid by cheque, internet banking or monthly standing order. Internet banking and Standing Orders
must have your child’s name as a
reference. Standing orders start a
month before the term commences e.g. January term Standing order commences on 1
December.
3. If your child leaves half way through the term no refund will be given.
Children participating on a 4 week taster, are under no obligation to give
notice during the 4 weeks.
4. We require half a terms notice (5 weeks) in writing (or email) if your child
is leaving sonnets, so we can give the opportunity to another child.
5. We have an annual increase of fees each September (this can vary subject to
venue hire updates).
6. All pupils should wear their compulsory Sonnets T-Shirt to classes, if you do
not have one please enquire with your Sonnets Coach or order via our website.
7. We may ask parents to purchase costumes for shows, these are obviously yours
to keep afterwards.
8. If a pupil is being disruptive on a regular basis they will be given a verbal
warning, then a written warning and possible exclusion from the school.
9. Mobile phones and valuables are not permitted in class.
10. A fee of £15 per month will be added to late payment of class fees. This is
worked out from the first day of term onwards.
11. Any charges for returned cheques will be passed on to the customer.
12. If you are going to be late picking your child up or somebody else is
picking them up please inform your Sonnets Coach.
13. Second/third siblings receive a 10% discount if both children are
participating in all 3 classes, the discount is applied to the class which is
the least value.
14. Class joining incentives are updated on our website each term.
